The media is hotly divided on whether to call the situation in Iraq a "civil war", so as to frame it in a way that might mean admitted defeat by the Bush Administration.

Is collage in art (as opposed to making something with traditional materials) just plain lazy? Like digital photography, too many people are doing it and killing it. Remix can sometimes seem like lazy collage.

[11/14/2024: The more ideas I get about how to use AI in the flow of the creative process, the more I’m disappointed by the results. There’s too much “latency”, meaning having to navigate through poorly designed interfaces and the frustration of pay walls. I feel my energy draining away by the second, exhausted by all of it.]

Continued warm, 65 degrees

Film: Pirate Radio. I really hated this film because it failed so miserably at a potentially interesting topic.

Musicians no longer play 'instruments'. They program hardware and software and the hands are no longer fully involved.

Dynaxiom: Always strive to be well-prepared for fate.

A line I like from Caroline Myss: Fate is a “We”, Destiny is an “I” (Individualism versus the tribe).
